Committed to the promotion of emerging Mexican theater, we founded this project to offer a fair outlet for our work and arising young playwrights in our country.

In August 2022, we presented the publications of Asatia and Mira la libélula at Centro Universitario de Teatro-UNAM, fostered by the headmaster Mario Espinosa and Atanasio Cadena.

Mira la libélula

Synopsis

A hug between two friends who run away to the woods exhausted from a life they didn’t choose to live, rediscovering their very selves by letting themselves dwell together in silence. Thus, it is the immensity of the woods and its fragrance, a lake of blue waters what secretly reveals to them something about the irreprochable process of their own existence.

Asatia

Synopsis

A frustrated writer who does not understand the vacuum he carries along. A famous cellist dissatisfied with her professional achievements. He bets on love at the beginning of a novel as a path to relief. She, on the other hand, says no to love because it gets in the way of her professional goals. As the story progresses, he suspects that love is not what makes him sad. Her loneliness grows everyday and her smile wears out… He is writing to understand the ambitions that have led him to a public recognition that he fails to acknowledge for it has never been enough to him.
